Designed for net-zero energy consumption and LEED Platinum certification, this $37.2-million, two-story building in Los Angeles features a green roof of low-water succulents.
Formed with overlaid aluminum, copper panels, stone veneer, wood siding and triple-pane glazing with a heat-mirror film, the exterior has a very high thermal rating.
An active chilled-beam system provides individual comfort control and uses 100% outside air, blown across chilled and hot-water coils.
