Philadelphia-based global risk and project management consultant Hill International has namedSimon Longleya senior vice president in its construction claims group. He is based in Dubai, U.A.E. Longley had been regional managing director at consultant Project Advisors International, also based there, and previously served as commercial director for Balfour Beatty Rail. The company says Longley is a specialist in international megaproject disputes.
Gleeds, a London-based construction consultant, has hired two top executives, according to U.K. industry publication Building.Anthony Greenwoodjoins as director of Asia-Pacific operations from a previous role as director of that region’s activity for Faithful + Gould, where he was based in Shanghai and Hong Kong.Howard Thomasis named director of Gleeds’ health division. He was a director at industry consultant Sweett Group, specializing in health-care development. Both executives are based in London. Sweett last month completed the sale of its Asia-Pacific division—including operations in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam—to rival consultant Currie & Brown. CEO Douglas McCormick told online publication Building the firm needed cash to cut debt and intended to focus on its units in the U.K., Europe, the Middle East and the U.S.Kim Berry, former managing director of that division, has joined Currie & Brown.
RailWorks Corp., a New York City-based rail and transit contractor, has namedGreg MuldoonInterim CEO. He replacesJeffrey M. Levy, who has left the firm. Muldoon has been a RailWorks director since 2008 and is a previous CEO of Air-Serv, a service company with operations in North America and Europe. He also is former chief operating officer of Browning-Ferris Industries, a multibillion-dollar waste management company. Levy, who had been RailWorks CEO since 2005 and a board member since 2004, now is an independent management consultant. RailWorks ranks at No. 92 on ENR’s list of the Top 400 Contractors, with $703 million in 2014 revenue.
Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management unit of Aon plc, namedNate Espeas managing director of its global construction and infrastructure practice. He was head of construction and engineering for the Europe, Middle East and Africa units of Zurich Insurance Group.
