This health care center consolidates cancer treatment services into one location. The team designed it to be a hopeful place, integrating natural light with calming shades of blue and green. Its modern, curving architecture welcomes visitors through sweeping glass entries and overhead canopies.

When the government shut down in 2018 due to funding issues, the team faced a major obstacle. Because the project was adjacent to an airport, it needed Federal Aviation Administration approval to operate a crane for structural steel erection. The team began with visits to FAA offices and reached out to aviation consultants and state officials to help expedite processing. The tireless effort ultimately led to a successful approval of the FAA permit immediately after the agency reopened its doors.
