Manhattan Mechanicalcelebrated the grand opening its new 20,000-sq-ft headquarters in East Chicago, Ind., on Nov. 5. The new headquarters has a 50-ft by 200-ft fabrication shop, craft training center and corporate offices. The merit shop mechanical contractor plans to invest approximately $2.5 million to create an estimated 75 to 100 jobs over the next several years.

詹姆斯妇幼保健ugh Construction Co.completed work on NEMA Chicago in October. At 896-ft-tall, it is Chicago’s tallest all-rental building. NEMA was designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects and the Rockwell Group.

General contractorSkenderrecently completed interior construction of the 55,000-sq-ft Chicago headquarters of the American Library Association, the oldest and largest library association in the world.

Located on a single floor at 225 N. Michigan Ave. on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, the office has a mix of private and open-concept workspaces, enhanced meeting and focus spaces, a library, of course, and multiple podcasting and video conferencing rooms.
