Herrero Builders.Inc., the Boldt Co. and Webcor will construct a 955,000-sq-ft hospital for the University of California, San Francisco.

The hospital, designed by Herzog & de Meuron and HDR, will use an integrated form of agreement under which all parties—including UCSF, designers, builders and trade partners—work as signatories on a single contract.

Located adjacent to the existing UCSF Helen Diller Medical Center on the eastern edge of the 150-year-old campus (see pin above), the project will renovate buildings in addition to adding new structures.
