Powers Brown Architecture, Houston, has promotedBruce J. Walckto president. Walck, a principal of the firm since 2008, has worked in the Houston headquarters and also established Canadian offices in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Toronto. Walck joined Powers Brown in 2003 as a project manager; in 2008 the founding partners named him the firm’s first new principal.
