Bruce J. WalckPowers Brown Architecture, Houston, has promotedBruce J. Walckto president. Walck, a principal of the firm since 2008, has worked in the Houston headquarters and also established Canadian offices in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Toronto. Walck joined Powers Brown in 2003 as a project manager; in 2008 the founding partners named him the firm’s first new principal.

The firm also announced that principalLauren Amber Prestenbachis relocating from the Denver office to Houston. Prestenbach is one of ENR’s 2021 national Top 20 Under 40. She advocated to help pass Colorado legislation for interior design professionals to become legally recognized and licensed and thus ensure their design qualifications and education.

During his 27 years at BHB, Gregory has provided design, supervision and project management for medium-voltage distribution for overhead and underground systems and for building power, lighting, and control systems.Shonnah Driver, director of marketing, has been promoted to senior associate. Driver started at BHB in 2008 as a part-time intern, and is the first woman and non-technical professional to be named a firm associate.
