Colorado College’s Ed Robson Arena is a 3,400-seat, state-of-the-art, multipurpose venue that will host regional, national and international events in partnership with the U.S. Olympic Committee, further enhancing Colorado Springs’ claim as Olympic City USA. The 270,000-sq-ft arena, designed by JLG Architects and being built by Nunn Construction, is set to open in October. In addition to the varsity hockey team, the arena will serve the college’s intramural sports, club teams, student life activities and academics, as well as community hockey and figure skating. The arena also will further Colorado College’s commitment to sustainable design, with its carbon-neutral, net-zero-energy goal.
