从2021年计基准Report

The 2021 report illuminates the benchmarks, best practices and trends that are providing government contractors with a strategy in a time of uncertainty. In the high-pressure world of government contracting, 2021 has supplied many stressors, lots of adversity, and some twists.

The changes brought on by a global pandemic (quarantine, remote work, supply chain disruption, contractual uncertainty, etc., and at a larger level, higher unemployment, and the risk of a recession) are one set of factors. The more recognizable competitive challenges like growing profits, dealing with tech innovations, and navigating a prominent level of regulatory and policy changes is another set. Add in other stressors such as the government’s demand for cyber-security compliance and the risk of an eminent hack, and the result is a high-stress environment for government contractors.

Just released in September of 2021, the fifth edition of the annualGAUGE Report从一个超过1,400名受访者的调查中汲取其调查结果,代表了各种政府承包的各种公司大小和行业。

The survey data yields several compelling stories, some insightful performance metrics, and more than a few innovative business tactics shaping what is now an even more volatile GovCon landscape. Amid so many changes, one thing is clear: There is much knowledge to gain by benchmarking your GovCon organization against competitors, and by learning how other government contractors are handling challenges and opportunities just like yours.

Results from Unanet and CohnReznick’s new2021 GAUGE Reportsuggest GovCons are indeed feeling pressure from multiple directions — but the creative responses to pressures are impressive, and well-worth the read.
