Both the sustainability and safety winners will be honored along with other Best Projects winners in ceremonies in Salt Lake City and Denver in the last week of October.
ENR Southwest honors 17 Best Projects and 12 Awards of Merit across 17 categories, along with special awards for Excellence in Safety and Sustainability.
Celebration of life service is Sunday, Aug. 29, 2-5PM, PST in Las Vegas for highway agency spokesman and much-recognized construction writer and editor who died suddenly there on July 30.
Winning projects will be covered in more detail in the October issue of ENR Mountain States, and the winners will be honored at awards events in Denver and Salt Lake City during the last week of October.
ENR Southwest has named Rosendin Electric its 2021 Specialty Contractor of the Year for its strong performance in the region during a challenging year, its dedication to fostering growth among its employees and its commitment to pushing technological innovation forward.
Firms nominated for Contractor of the Year honors are voted on by ENR regional editors based on information provided in the year's Top Contractors ranking survey.
