Building a Zero Tolerance Community Against Racism, Hate, Bias and Harassment
Sydney is a project manager at Mortenson with 13 years of experience. Recent projects include Minnehaha Academy’s Upper School Rebuild, The Family Partnership’s New Resource Center, renovations and expansion to the historic Westminster Presbyterian Church, and U.S. Bank Stadium. Sydney has a passion not only for the built environment, but also feels a strong personal obligation to collaborate with industry and community partners in creating an inclusive environment on all of our projects. She has also taken part in discussions that address the equity gap as it relates to leadership positions in construction as well as how to create more opportunities for small, women and minority businesses in construction. Sydney is also involved in the ACE Mentor Program and Girls Taking Action to mentor young women about careers in construction.
