The Urey Hall design-build project at UC San Diego includes the renovation of two existing Quantitative Biology (qBio) labs on the 6th floor of Urey Hall. Level 10 Construction’s work for the 2,017-sq.-ft. area included new interior partitions and finishes, along with new interior and exterior doors. The project also includes lighting, electrical and HVAC upgrades.

The HNTB-designed Sixth Street Viaduct Replacement Project is the largest bridge project in the history of Los Angeles and is being led by the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering. When complete, the new signature bridge will serve as a unique addition to L.A.’s skyline and Los Angeles. HNTB was selected by the City of Los Angeles to deliver final design and construction support for the project. Completion is expected in 2019.

Salvaged iconic arch is being removed to be used in new HNTB-designed replacement Sixth Street Viaduct linking Boyle Heights and Downtown Los Angeles. Since February 2016, nearly 2,000 feet of the original viaduct has been torn down, bringing the demolition phase to 50 percent completion. “We are excited to see the progress being made on this transformative project that will ultimately become L.A.’s newest architectural centerpiece,” said Terence Pao, PE, HNTB project manager.

Level 10 Construction has completed the core and shell construction of its $180 million Moffett Gateway project, a development that includes two seven-story office towers, a parking structure with a green roof, and a fitness center. The 15.5-acre Moffett Gateway project contains 612,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space with views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and Silicon Valley.

Sprig Electric completes electrical work at home of the San Jose Earthquakes, Avaya Stadium
Demolition of Sixth Street Viaduct over the 101 Freeway is initial step to replace L.A.’s historic bridge with new HNTB-designed viaduct. In the latest milestone, a 220-foot section above the 101 Freeway was successfully demolished recently.
Level 10 Construction completes a $65 million renovation of the Silevo California Technology Center in Fremont, a two-building solar fabrication and R&D facility. Level 10 provided design-build services for the 200,000-square-foot project.
